Number Five on Our 12-Point Agenda
One of our promises to the good people of Ogun State—when given the mandate to serve as Governor in 2027—is the creation of Computer Coding Schools and Digital Libraries across the state.
We will establish these centers as a matter of priority and urgency.
In the first phase, two computer coding schools will be built in every Local Government Area of Ogun State. These centers will become regular destinations for monthly educational field trips for students from both private and government schools.
Our precious children in Ogun State will grow to lead Nigeria in computing, digital innovation, and hands-on technology skills. They will demonstrate to the world the brilliance and creativity they possess.
For too long, it has been lack of opportunity—not lack of talent—that held many of our young people back. Under our administration, that will change.
By the special grace of God—Deo Volente—the children of Ogun State will blossom and fulfill their great destinies.
These coding centers will provide:

During these immersive, day-long school visits, students will experience hands-on exposure to technology, programming, and digital creativity.
These experiences will be repeated regularly until digital literacy becomes second nature, while additional facilities are gradually built across the state.

Today, skilled software developers and coders can earn millions of naira monthly, working with companies anywhere in the world. Because coding is a global online profession, talent can thrive without the need for visas or relocation.
Nigeria, as an English-speaking country with immense youthful talent, is uniquely positioned to provide digital services to the world.
Through this initiative, Ogun State will take a bold leap into the global digital economy—creating jobs, transforming lives, and ensuring that our youth are not left behind in the technological revolution.
